Brad Marchand is having a strong Stanley Cup Final with the Florida Panthers. He now has six goals in the series. Marchand scored two goals on Saturday in Florida’s 5-2 win over Edmonton.
Traded from the Boston Bruins to Florida at this year’s deadline, Marchand is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 and has started to field questions about his future. Marchand is coming off the final season of the eight-year, $49 million contract extension he signed with the Bruins in 2016.
Marchand will return to the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night in Edmonton.
