A woman was conned into thinking she was in a relationship with actor Brad Pitt and scammed out of nearly $1 million.

The woman said she had believed she was in a romantic relationship with the Hollywood star, leading her to divorce her husband and transfer $850,000.

It’s awful that scammers take advantage of fans’ strong connection with celebrities,” a representative for Pitt said.
