At least 25 people are believed to be dead and more than a dozen others remain unaccounted for as multiple wildfires rage across Southern California.

Fires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 25 people. The Palisades and Eaton wildfires are still burning in Southern California.

Four wildfires continue to burn around Los Angeles county as of Saturday morning local time, with authorities trying to contain the blazes.

Thousands of firefighters are battling wildfires across 45 square miles of densely populated Los Angeles County. About 88,000 people remain under mandatory evacuation orders and another 84,000 are under evacuation warnings.

At least 24 people have died across the Los Angeles area. Officials have said the true death toll isn't known as the fires continue to burn.
