There might be a real feud brewing between Kings forward DeMar DeRozan and multiplatinum artist Drake. DeRozan and the Kings made their lone visit to face the Raptors on Saturday — the same night Hall of Famer Vince Carter would see his number raised to the rafters.

Canadian rapper Drake and American rapper Kendrick Lamar have been feuding since the early 2010s, exchanging several diss tracks over the years. One notable diss track by Lamar, “Not Like Us,” featured a cameo by Sacramento Kings player DeMar DeRozan.

It sucks that Carter’s night was overshadowed by a rapper who has had a rough 2024. Drake also muttered some choice words under his breath when DeRozan was near him as the game ended in a Raptors victory. It’s very Drake that he took a loss in yet another beef.
