Reddit has temporarily banned the subreddit r/WhitePeopleTwitter after Elon Musk complained about the community. The subreddit is currently inaccessible with a message from Reddit stating that the community has been banned for 72 hours due to “a prevalence of violent content.

Reddit has totally axed one of its communities and temporarily banned another after a run-in with Elon Musk. The X chief moaned on his platform that some Reddit users on the subreddit r/WhitePeopleTwitter had broken the law after they allegedly revealed the identities of his so-called DOGE goon squad,

Reddit banned and removed communities that targeted Elon Musk and his team. One subreddit was temporarily shut down due to violent comments, while another was permanently deleted.

“…double standards,” writes a reddit commenter on the r/OutOfTheLoop page. “Apparently, Musk and his truck bro sycophants are allowed to gut the federal government and harvest personal data for their AI [expletive], but the American people aren’t allowed to call them out on it or otherwise retaliate.
