At least 50 people are dead in central Texas after devastating flash floods slammed Hill Country, with water rescues taking place along the Guadalupe River. While officials couldn't confirm an exact number of those who remain unaccounted for,

Neches River near Diboll, affecting Angelina, Polk and Trinity counties. Rio Grande, Big Bend National Park, affecting Brewster County.

Meteorologists say incredible amounts of moisture in the air fueled a storm that moved slowly over central Texas, creating conditions for fatal flash floods.
