Gaza's Health Ministry says an Israeli strike killed five Palestinian journalists outside a hospital overnight. Israel says they were militants posing as reporters.

Apart from that, the Health Ministry on Wednesday stated that 38 people had been killed in the Palestinian territory in the past 24 hours.

Twenty-five more Palestinians have been martyred and several others injured by Israeli forces in Gaza and West Bank. The martyrdom toll of Palestinians in Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to over forty-five thousand and three hundred since October last year.

Mughrabi CAIRO (Reuters) -Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least 17 Palestinians, eight of them at a school sheltering displaced families in Gaza City, medics said, as the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of a hospital in the north.

The war began when Hamas-led militants attacked southern Israel on 7 October, 2023, killing some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking around 250 hostage. Around 100 captives are still inside Gaza, at least a third of whom are believed to be dead.

The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 45,338, with 107,764 others injured, the Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Tuesday. The rise in the number of fatalities came after 21 more Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours by Israeli strikes.
