Ariana Grande hopes to do more musical theater following her work on “Wicked.” Grande, 31, shared her desire to move away from pop stardom during an appearance on the “Las Culturistas” podcast Wednesday with her “Wicked” co-star Bowen Yang and his co-host Matt Rogers.

The newly branded Ariana Grande-Butera wants to extend her one short day in Hollywood for a little while longer. “I’m gonna say something so scary. It’s gonna scare the absolute shit out of my fans and everyone, but I love them and they’ll deal,” she said during a recent appearance on Matt Rogers’ and Bowen Yang’s Las Culturistas podcast.

Ariana Grande may have become a superstar as a chart-topping pop star, but after pivoting back to musical theater while working on Wicked, the 31-year-old artist says she's hoping to keep acting at the forefront in the future.
