Minnesota Sen. John Hoffman's wife is speaking out for the first time since a shooting injured the couple at their home early Saturday morning.

Investigators found a cowboy hat near the vehicle and were working to determine whether it belongs to Boelter.

While Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, recover from multiple gunshot wounds, efforts are being made to help them with the expenses they will incur after a gunman posing as a police officer entered their home and shot them.
