The steady lake-effect snow that was overspreading a big section of the state will continue across some areas into Wednesday morning. There will also be heavier bursts of snow creating more low-visibility issues that caused accidents and highway shutdowns earlier today.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland forecast calls for 6 inches to 14 inches of snow in various parts of Erie County through early Thursday.
