Lenovo’s Legion gaming laptops are getting a big refresh thanks to CES 2025. The new series of notebooks includes what’s probably the star of the show, the 10th-generation Legion Pro 7i. It supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU thanks in part to a cooling system that enables up to 250W thermal design power (TDP).

Lenovo unveiled the redesigned Legion Pro 7i (16″, 10) and Legion Pro 5i (16″, 10), both powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors. These laptops are built for competitive gamers who require high-end performance.

The Legion Pro 7i is the most cutting-edge of the bunch, featuring a new cooling chamber design that sees it crank its potential power draw up to 250W TDP, compared to the Legion Pro 5i and 5's 200W TDP. In all cases, the system's software will be able to modulate both CPU and GPU draw to keep things smooth, too.
