We've got another exciting Eastern Conference contest on Wednesday's NBA schedule as the Charlotte Hornets will host the Brooklyn Nets. Charlotte is 12-31 overall and 8-15 at home, while Brooklyn is 14-33 overall and 9-17 on the road.

The Nets have lost seven in a row to drop into 13 th in the Eastern Conference. They lost at home Monday to the Kings, 110-96. D’Angelo Russell had 19 points in the loss. Charlotte lost at home to the Lakers Monday, 112-107. LeMelo Ball left the game with a sprained ankle after only nine minutes. The Hornets sit in 14 th place in the East.

The Knicks are 11-point favorites Tuesday, although the Nets do have a rest advantage having played Sunday before a break on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tom Thibodeau’s group is just 2-3 in the second half of back-to-backs, with both wins coming against the 6-35 Wizards and one of those games requiring overtime.
