The sudden change of heart comes just hours after his initial announcement. The young cricketer attributed this reversal to an emotional reaction after he was excluded from the season 10 draft of the league.

Ihsanullah has since retracted his claims, claiming that his decision to resign was only motivated by feelings.

Ihsanullah came into spotlight when he took 22 wickets in PSL 8 for Multan Sultan. He soon after made his Pakistan debut against Afghanistan in 2023.
