An armed man who barricaded himself inside a Plymouth inn was shot and killed, apparently by state troopers, shortly after midnight Thursday.

A 41-year-old man died in the hospital Friday night after he was shot in a parking lot in Plymouth, according to a press release from the Plymouth Police Department. Police received numerous calls at around 5:45 p.m. about a person suffering from a gunshot wound in a public parking lot on Middle Street.
