Prime Video has ordered two new sports documentaries from Skydance Sports and NFL Films, a six-part series about the New York Jets and a feature-length documentary about Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens,

Among the players to be featured will be Quinnen and Maranda Williams and Alijah and Jessie Vera-Tucker and provides “an authentic peek into the emotional journey these players and their families go on over the course of a 17-week NFL season,” according to Amazon.

Meanwhile, The Home Team: NY Jets, is set to be a six-part documentary series following six Jets players and their partners. The series will feature couples including Quinnen and Maranda Williams, Alijah and Jessie Vera-Tucker, among others, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their lives on and off the field.

Amazon revealed two NFL matchups set for Prime Video's 2025 schedule on Black Friday and Christmas Day during its upfront presentation in New York.

The week one matchup will feature to Los Angeles Chargers taking on an opponent to be named Wednesday, with YouTube also securing multiyear rights to the Super Bowl Flag Football game.

Amazon's Prime Video has been working on its holiday ad game. After debuting an NFL game on "Black Friday" in 2023, the streaming giant plans to add NBA games to the mix, bolstering its efforts to woo some of the millions Madison Avenue typically spends in the run-up to the end-of-year holidays.
