DETROIT – It has been 13 years since the Detroit Red Wings strung together this many wins in a row and nine seasons since their power play was this potent. The Red Wings’ remarkable mid-season turnaround continued in dominant fashion Sunday with a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken at Little Caesars Arena.

The Wings added three more power-play goals during Sunday's 6-2 drubbing of Seattle. That stretched the Wings' streak to eight games with a power-play goal (ironically all of McLellan's games), a stretch where the Wings are now a sizzling 50% (14-for-28) during that span.
