Xavier Restrepo could have taken the easy way out. His first three seasons with the Miami Hurricanes didn’t go as planned. Lightly used in his first two seasons before the head coach who recruited him was ousted.

After a record-breaking day, the all-time receptions and receiving yards leader earns his first ACC honors of the year.

Restrepo also is climbing other UM all-time lists. He tied Mike Harley Jr. as the program’s all-time leader in receptions at 182. Restrepo’s three scores moved him past Phillip Dorsett and tied him with Moss for the seventh-most touchdown catches in program history (19).
