Rocksteady's troubled shooter will continue to operate and the offline mode is finally here, but there will be no further content updates after today.

One more update for the Suicide Squad game has been released by Rocksteady marking an end to the title's support after less than a year.

Rocksteady has released the last content drop for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League with Episode 8. which appears as update 1.022.

Kill the Justice League's story has ended and with it Batman's Arkhamverse future has a fairly blank canvas to work with.

As a refresher, the original campaign of Suicide Squad showed its members killing the Justice League's heroes, including the Batman of the Arkham video game series. Fans of the franchise were upset that their favorite Batman, portrayed by Kevin Conroy, was nonchalantly shot point-blank by Harley Quinn.

Kill the Justice League's true ending has been revealed, and it confirmed fan theories that every dead hero was actually just a clone.
