Taco Bell has been testing some new food lately. With rumors of previously untried menu items, it looks like it may be adding a classic item in December.

Taco Bell is set to release its take on chicken nuggets nationwide next month, according to food blogger Markie Devo. Taco Bell previously tested chicken nuggets -- a stable of several fast food competitors -- in select Houston locations earlier this year.

Taco Bell is offering a new menu with five previously discontinued items, including the Tostada and Gordita Supreme.

Taco Bell will revive five menu items spanning five decades — 1960 to 2000. The first four items will get revived on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and be available for a limited time. On Thursday, Nov. 21, the final item, the Caramel Apple Empanada, will return to Taco Bell menus, per Taco Bell.
