Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in nearly 2,000 cities and towns this weekend.
The anti-Trump protests in Austin remained peaceful, despite a 'credible threat' that forced a brief evacuation of the Texas Capitol complex.
More than 1,000 protesters rallied at the Mississippi State Capitol Building for the "No Kings" protest on June 14, which was also Trump's birthday.
Organizers of the “No Kings” demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. In Oregon, tens of thousands of people gathered in downtown Portland for two large protests -- one that began in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the other at the Oregon Convention Center.
The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.
South Jersey residents, such as Jessica Herrera of Cherry Hill, took to the streets of Philadelphia to sound off against the Trump administration.
Some Greater Cincinnati residents are expected to take to the streets on June 14 to protest President Donald Trump, the latest in a series of anti-Trump demonstrations in the area over the past few months.
