January, almost 200 bombs were discovered in Wooler, a town in the north of England. A total of 176 bombs dating back to the Second World War had been stored in this small English town, covering just a few square metres.

Although the devices found during construction work were practice bombs, they can be harmful. Officials said there could be more.

The unexploded ordnance, discovered during a site renovation, were described as “practice bombs” that still carry a charge and must be removed by professionals.
