Israel’s military said Thursday it had conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah headquarters and military infrastructure in Beirut. Hezbollah’s new leader warned Wednesday that his forces will battle Israel until they are forced to appeal for peace.

Areas of Beirut’s southern suburbs were seen strewn with rubble around severely damaged buildings on Thursday (November 7), following Israeli strikes overnight. A Lebanese citizen voiced strong condemnation of Israeli aggression in the country describing the conflict as 'not a war in which there is justice'.
