Jaguars coach Liam Coen called Anthony Campanile, whom the team hired Thursday as its new defensive coordinator, "exactly what we want to be as a defensive unit and football team."

Campanile joined the Packers under then-new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley during the 2024 season. Under Campanile, rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was a two-time NFC Defensive Player of the Week and the NFC’s Rooke of the Month in December.

The Jacksonville Jaguars hired Green Bay assistant Anthony Campanile as defensive coordinator and tasked him with turning around one of the worst units in franchise history.
