The Diamondbacks received an uptick in trade inquiries for their starting rotation after signing Corbin Burnes, but there is no rush to make a deal.

The Arizona Diamondbacks unveiled their newest star, right-handed pitcher Corbin Burnes, on Wednesday. Burnes, who signed a reported six-year, $210 million contract with the D-backs in December, is ecstatic for this new chapter in his career.

As revealed today during Burnes’ introductory press conference, the concept of Burnes joining the D’Backs also seemed unlikely to all parties involved at the start of the offseason.
