Indiana's Vigo County has correctly predicted the presidential winner in all but two elections since 1888. Here's how they voted in 2024.

Two of them are Democrats. This year, all of the state's U.S. House races included a Libertarian candidate for the first time since at least 2012, although the Libertarians didn't come close to winning any of the races.

Republican Jim Banks was considered the front-runner in the race, which also included Democrat Valerie McCray and Libertarian Andrew Horning.

Braun, 70, will succeed outgoing Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb, who could not seek a third term because of term limits.
