Amy Dowden feels as if she has "let JB Gill down" with her 'Strictly Come Dancing' exit and had been planning a special dance for this week to mark one year since completing her cancer treatment.

Amy Dowden became emotional as she opened up about having to leave Strictly Come Dancing. The 34-year-old choreographer was forced to pull out of the show following a foot injury, which came after she had to miss week six's show after collapsing backstage.

Amy Dowden's friend Sara Davies has said that she 'knows' how the professional dancer will be right now following her premature exit from Strictly Come Dancing. The Welsh star made a triumphant return to the ballroom back in September after being forced to miss out on competing in the 2023 series due to undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Sadly, Amy Dowden MBE will not be partaking in the rest of the competition this year. Whilst Amy focuses on her recovery following a foot injury, fellow Professional Dancer, Lauren Oakley, will step in as JB’s dance partner.
