Last week, Ola Electric stated that its CMO and CTO have quit with immediate effect. Anshul Khandelwal said that he resigned due to personal reasons. Now, the Bhavish Aggarwal-led company has informed about the appointment of its Company Secretary and Compliance officer- Pritam Das Mohapatra.

Ola Electric Mobility’s CMO Anshul Khandelwal and CTO Suvonil Chatterjee resigned from the company on December 27 with immediate effect.

Shares of Ola Electric Mobility fell 4.61 per cent at Rs 85.93 a piece on the BSE in Monday’s intraday trade. Ola Electric share price rose after Ola Electric announced the departure of two senior executives, Chief Marketing Officer Anshul Khandelwal and Chief Technology Officer Suvonil Chatterjee due personal reasons.

The shares of Ola Electric Mobility took a sharp hit on Monday, December 30, plunging over 5% to Rs 86 per share during the early trading session. The decline followed the resignation of two top executives—Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Anshul Khandelwal and Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTO) Suvonil Chatterjee—effective December 27.

The stock slipped 4.62 per cent to hit a day low of Rs 85.93. It was last seen trading 3.72 per cent lower at Rs 86.74. At this price, the scrip has declined 7.13 per cent in a month.

Both Chatterjee and Khandelwal had long tenures at Ola, initially joining Ola Cabs before moving to Ola Electric. Chatterjee joined in 2017 as Head of Design, while Khandelwal came on board in 2018 as Head of Marketing.
