Samsung has its Project Moohan headset on display at Galaxy Unpacked, and we’ve just taken a bunch of pictures of it. This technically isn’t the first time we’ve seen Project Moohan, but it is the first time we’ve been allowed to photograph it.

Samsung Unpacked didn’t have any big XR revelations this year, although the South Korean tech giant has finally shown off the near-final version of its Android XR headset, codenamed Project Moohan. We went hands-on with Moohan at the headset’s unveiling last month,

Google and Samsung have envisioned an Android XR headset as an infinite desktop. With apps baked in like Chrome, YouTube, Google TV, and more, it’s easy to see how this could be an Apple Vision Pro competitor. Time will tell if Samsung and Google can make an impression with the first physical consumer-facing XR product.

Amidst the whirlwind of new Samsung Galaxy S25 phones and a sneak peek of the much-anticipated XR headset at Galaxy Unpacked, something else caught my eye: one simple slide during the presentation that shows AR glasses on Samsung's development timeline.
