The Sony and Honda Car is coming to California, and the joint venture is taking reservations now. The collaborative effort is building its Afeela 1 in Ohio, with the joint venture targeting the middle of 2026 for deliveries. The Afeela 1 will start at $89,900 for its Origin trim and $102,900 for the Afeela 1 Signature trim.

The EV will be available in "two trims," as per Sony, with prices starting from $89,900 with a 3-year complimentary subscription for certain functionality and features, according to a company press release. The tech titan has also announced online reservations through the AFEELA website with a fully refundable reservation fee of $200.
Honda And Sony's EV Costs More Than A Lucid Air
The Afeela 1 EV is nearly production-ready and will be assembled in the U.S. at a Honda facility. Afeela also announced the start of reservations, which for now, is only open to California residents.
