The Texas Tech Red Raiders - fresh off their first appearance in the AP Top 25 - downed the TCU Horned Frogs 71-57 on Wednesday night at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.

All of them are averaging over 15.5 points per game and have shown the ability to lead the team in scoring on any given night. Much of the Horned Frogs’ chances of contending during March Madness will rely on the performance of their big three, but TCU will need more than their star trio to advance to the Final Four.

The Red Raiders were short-handed as standout forward Darrion Williams was ruled out just before tip-off. But even without their third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, Texas Tech (16-4, 7-2) had more than enough offense to pull away from TCU (10-10, 3-6) in the second half.
