Texas football is in good hands with quarterback Arch Manning set to take the reins next season after Quinn Ewers officially declared for the 2025 NFL draft two weeks ago. Ewers suited up for the last time for the Longhorns in a 28-14 College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Ohio State this past month,

Manning has been with the Longhorns for two seasons. Throughout his time at Texas, he has recorded nine touchdowns and 969 yards through the air, four touchdowns and 115 yards on the ground. During the 2024 season, Ewers posted 31 touchdowns and 3,471 yards with a 65.8 completion percentage.

Not long after Ohio State beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl to end the 2024 season for the Longhorns, Texas QB Arch Manning was already thinking ahead to 2025. Manning played mostly in a reserve role for Texas the past two seasons.
