After making a perilous offseason blockbuster trade, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been fighting through team chemistry issues all season. Working in Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo hasn't been as easy as the team anticipated.

Anthony Edwards dominated the struggling Knicks, who were again outplayed in the fourth quarter, again barraged by 3-pointers and again lost handily, 116-99, Friday night to the Timberwolves.

The Wolves had the defenders in Edwards, Alexander-Walker and Jaden McDaniels to seemingly wear down New York’s star point guard Jalen Brunson. Outside of an unexpected 18-point, first-half explosion from Cam Payne, the Knicks found no real consistent offense throughout the evening.

Anthony Edwards had 36 points, a season-high 13 rebounds and seven assists, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 116-99 victory over the New York Knicks.

Anthony Edwards may not be the best player to come out of Georgia, as the point guard said Walt “Clyde” Frazier told him during pregame warmups. However, he was the best player at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
