But a surprising slump for one of their best players seems to be growing worse. Battling a persistent stomach bug and a toe injury, Mookie Betts has slashed just .254/.338/.391 so far this year.

“I wouldn’t say it’s going to be of concern, it’s not. And a track record like that, I would say concern is not really ever going to be on the table,” Roberts said of Betts’ ongoing slump.
