Vance Boelter, named in multiple news reports as the accused shooter of Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses, wrote on social media that he was the CEO of a company called "Red Lion Group."

Vance Luther Boelter lists himself on LinkedIn as the CEO of the Red Lion Group, which is based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and claims to run a private security company with his wife,

In one video, Vance Boelter was seen participating as a keynote speaker in his capacity as CEO of Red Lion Group for a seminar in 2022.

Vance Boelter was arrested Sunday in Ramsey County, Minnesota. He was caught after a two-day manhunt following the ‘politically motivated’ shooting of state House Democratic leader Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, as well as wounding Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife at their respective homes on Saturday morning.

Boelter claimed to have a doctorate of education, and said he spent extensive time in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa — where he was seen in videos apparently preaching on stage.

Minnesota shooter Vance Luther Boelter's online biographies show that he  runs a security company and has ties to the Middle East and Africa.

Vance Boelter, is wanted in connection with a political shooting that killed Rep. Hortman and injured Sen. Hoffman.
