Update: Special weather statement warns of slick roads for Wisconsin Thursday morning
"The freezing drizzle and light snow has moved out of the area this morning. There may still be some slick spots on untreated roads and surfaces for the morning commute. Slow down and drive carefully on untreated roads into this morning. Allow for extra time to reach your destination," according to the NWS.
A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 5:12 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. The advisory is for Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha counties.
