Breeze Airways will fly out of Albany International Airport starting in June, with nonstop routes to Raleigh-Durham, Charleston and Fort Meyers.

Albany airport officials have been working to bring new carriers here for several years. Last May, Avelo Airlines — another low-cost carrier — started service from ALB to Raleigh-Durham and later added a flight to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
