Arizona firefighters join California's battle as wildfires prompt mass evacuations
PHOENIX — Fast-moving wildfires fueled by winds have forced countless Los Angeles residents to evacuate over the past few days. Firefighters from Arizona joined the hundreds of firefighters working to contain the California fires. Around 80 firefighters from Arizona were sent to the state as the fires continue to burn.
Kinder Morgan said fires weren’t directly disrupting operations, but outages forced a line serving Arizona to shut down.
