Oregon has five statewide measures on the ballot this year, some of which could have big implications for state taxes, the cannabis industry and future elections.

Oregon voters appear to be passing Measure 119, which would make it easier for workers in the cannabis industry to organize. In early results, nearly 58% of voters supported Measure 119 compared with 42% who voted against.

Measure 119, which asked voters to give protection to Oregon cannabis workers trying to unionize, appears to be passing, according to initial election results released at 11 p.m. Tuesday.
