On Saturday night, pop star Chappell Roan made her "Saturday Night Live" debut and performed a brand new lesbian country song called "The Giver."

Yesterday (November 2), Chappell Roan premiered a new song for the beloved night show studio audience. After Chappell performed her newly RIAA gold certified song, “ Pinky Pony Club ,” she treated SNL to “The Giver” (viewable here ).

Chappell Roan seems to have introduced some new music on Saturday Night Live. The rising pop star surprised audiences when she began singing an unknown country song during her second set, after she made her musical guest debut with her hit Pink Pony Club.

After Chappell refers to taxidermy, a historically masculine decoration that originated in the South, she lets the listener know that she’s keen on women and their desires. She confidently boasts that she knows her way around a woman, not “needing a map.”

The chorus, as is expected of Roan, is totally sing-along-able, with the catchy refrain “Ain’t no country boy quitter / I get the job done.” In the grand tradition of Roan songs like “Femininomenon,” she made the live studio audience scream with a spoken-word bridge when she said,
