The officials have been confirmed for the Club World Cup clash between Chelsea and LAFC at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, United States.

LAFC reached this stage largely because of Bouanga, whose extra-time strike vs. Club América sealed an epic 2-1 comeback victory on May 31. The sides met in a play-in game at BMO Stadium, with the winner replacing Club León as the 32nd and final team when the Club World Cup unfolds this summer across the United States.

When the ball gets kicked off the center circle of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, the United States will go down in history as the first host of the most important soccer tournament created this century.

Chelsea heads into the FIFA Club World Cup as a top contender for the title. It's chasing just its second title after winning its first in 2021, the same year it one the Champions League.
