The Grizzlies could end up targeting another star via trade after dealing away Desmond Bane to the Magic from seemingly out of nowhere.

The Magic are sending guards Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cole Anthony along with four first-round picks and a pick swap to the Memphis Grizzlies for guard Desmond Bane. ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the news.

The Grizzlies will receive Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, a first-round pick swap and four unprotected first-round picks. The picks are for 2025, 2026, 2028 and 2030. A first-round pick swap in 2029 is also top-two protected.
