Chicago officials are expected to announce charges Wednesday in the fatal shooting of Officer Enrique Martinez, who was shot and killed in the line of duty Monday night on the city's South Side.

The man accused of killing Chicago Police Officer Enrique Martinez is expected to appear in court today for his arraignment.

The shooting happened on June 19, 2021 during Chicago's Puerto Rican festivities in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Anthony Lorenzi was found guilty on six counts of second degree murder on Thursday.
