Florida voters decided overwhelmingly to enshrine the right to hunt and fish into Florida’s constitution. Amendment 2 passed by of the 60% needed to pass. With more than 86% of the vote in Tuesday night, the amendment had chalked up 6,578,926 (67.3%) 'yes' votes, to 3,198,791 (32.7%) votes against the measure.

A strong across-the-board showing by Donald Trump helped propel the Republican former president to victory in Florida, once a preeminent swing state that has increasingly slipped out of Democrats’ grasp.

Republican Donald Trump won Florida, as expected, notching a victory in one of the night’s biggest electoral troves, the Associated Press projected. With 83% of the vote counted, Trump had 55% to 44% for Vice President Kamala Harris.
