Health officials say at least eight Palestinians were killed and dozens more were wounded in the latest shooting near Israeli- and U.S.-supported food distribution points in Gaza.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that Israeli soldiers shot and killed more than 30 people near a humanitarian aid distribution centre. More than 200 Palestinians were also injured in the incident in Rafah,

Survivors from one of the shootings said Israeli forces began firing on a crowd of hungry Palestinians in the pre-dawn hours.
