HOUGHTON, MI - Despite recent deaths and an ongoing federal investigation, Isle Royale National Park is open for visitors. Two campers were found dead nine days ago at the South Lake Desor Campground.

A national park service boat ran aground early Saturday while transporting a patient from Isle Royale in Lake Superior. According to a news release from Isle Royale National Park, at about 12:30 a.m.
