Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang laid out the company's US manufacturing plans, while criticizing export controls on chips to China during the the AI giant's earnings call Wednesday.
Wedbush on NVDA: Nvidia and CEO Jensen Huang delivered a strong quarter with "robust numbers," Ives said in a new investor note. "With all the world and markets watching…the Godfather of AI Jensen and Nvidia delivered another robust quarter after the bell handily beating the Street yet again," Ives said.
NVIDIA also unveiled the first update to Isaac GR00T, its foundation AI model for humanoid robots, designed to help them learn and adapt in real time. The latest version, Isaac GR00T N1.5, includes GR00T-Dreams, a simulation tool that creates virtual training environments to accelerate robotic learning.
Nvidia reported a record $44.1 billion in overall revenue, compared to expectations of $43.3 billion. It also guided investors for $45 billion in fiscal second-quarter sales, even with an expected $8 billion in lost revenue from China sales due to export restrictions. Analysts had penciled in guidance for $45.9 billion.
