Kananaskis: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday arrived in Kananaskis, Alberta to attend the 51st G7 Leaders' Summit being hosted by Canada. This is India's 12th participation and PM Modi's sixth participation in the Outreach Session of G7 Summits.

The G7 summit continues today without U.S. President Donald Trump, who left the talks ahead of schedule on Monday. Prime Minister Mark Carney set aside today — the second and final day of the summit — to focus on foreign policy.

The summit takes place amid growing geopolitical challenges, including the conflict in the Middle East and a trade war driven by US President Donald Trump’s tariff policies

Among PM Modi's first engagements was a pull-aside meeting with the President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum, also an invitee for the outreach session

According to Sheinbaum's official G7 schedule, the president will hold one-on-one talks with the heads of Canada, India and Germany on Tuesday.
