Park Police are at the center with canine units in response to a bomb threat. The city’s explosives division is assisting, officials said.

A bomb threat at the Kennedy Center prompted an evacuation and road closures Thursday afternoon, but security has since given the all-clear, and performances will proceed as scheduled, according to a center spokesperson.

The United States Park Police and D.C. police are on the scene of an investigation at the Kennedy Center Thursday morning. The Kennedy Center said the building was evacuated “due to a bomb threat targeting Shen Yun performances.
