The stalemate in the Minnesota House that has paralyzed the chamber for weeks is poised to end Thursday, after leaders in both parties said they reached an agreement on how they will move forward with the legislative session.

Minnesota’s House of Representatives convened with all members present Thursday afternoon under a power-sharing deal that ended a weeks-long boycott of the session by Democratic-Farmer-Labor lawmakers.

Minnesota House Democrats will end their three week boycott of the legislative session after Republicans agreed to a key demand that Rep. Brad Tabke, DFL-Shakopee, will retain his seat after winning a close victory in the south metro and a court challenge to the contest.
