The Mumbai police will likely recreate the crime scene at the Bandra home of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was repeatedly stabbed by an intruder, an official said on Sunday

A Mumbai court has sent Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad to five days of police custody in the Saif Ali Khan attack case.

Xx was arrested by the Mumbai Police on xx January, in connection with the Saif Ali Khan knife attack. They’ve been booked under xyz charges. The police formed 20 teams to find the accused after Saif Ali Khan was attacked at home on 16 January.

DCP Zone 9 said, "Prima facie the accused is a Bangladeshi and after entering India illegally he changed his name. He was using Vijay Das as his current name. He came to Mumbai 5-6 months ago. He stayed in Mumbai for a few days and then in the vicinity of Mumbai. The accused used to work in a housekeeping agency."
